Give up the attachment to the Body

For those of us who are upset and greiving about Swami's Body's current situation, I have a few questions.

1. Who is Swami?

This is a question for which even Gods do not have an answer , then how can we with impunity construe that Swami is the body and that He is suffering. Though we might not be able to fathom Swami's true nature we can with certanity say that He is not the body. Sai himself has told many times that if we restrict Him to the 5 odd feet of body in Parthi , then we are tying him up.

How many of us have innumerable experiences of Swami in the astral form? Is that in any way lesser than the physical interviews one might receive? How mmany of us are able to spend years with him in the physical frame? As for me My darshan of Swami was 45 years back as a eight year old, but I have absolute faith that my relationship with swami dates back to much earler births. If at all anything has been learnt by me in these 45 physical years with Swami is the truth that He is not the Body and neither are we.

Take any chapter in any vahini, and the underlying message is the same," Give up attachment to the ephemeral and stick to the eternal" .

Brothers and Sisters ,Let us do the same. Our Guru and God has taught us the essence of Veda and the vedantha, let us not act like the rest, wailing and weeping and displaying our waekness. Let us be silent and a recipient of Grace . There are innumerable statements by Devotees, which are very laughable as their attachment to the Body and misconception of the atmatatwa shows. When swami himself has told us innumerable times , When my Anugraha is there, what can the Navagrahas do? We in our anxiety are giving credence to Astrolagers predictions concerning Swami's Longeivity.

I would like to recall here Swami's own discourse On His physical health.

"Many of you are anxious thinking that Swami is not keeping good health

over the last few days. In fact, My health is very good. Real health is not

related to the body. As you equate Swami with this physical frame, it

appears as though Swami is not well. Yad Bhavam Tad Bhavati (as is the

feeling, so is the result). Do not identify Me with this physical body. I am

not Dehaswarupa (body), I am Dehi (the indweller). There is no difference

between you and Me. I have all powers in Me. But you are deluded seeing

My physical form. Whatever I am doing is only to satisfy the doctors and

other devotees. As a matter of fact, there is no trace of ill-health in Me. I

am always healthy. Not only today, till 96 years I will be like this. I

can do whatever I want. But those who go by the physical form think that

Swami is ageing. Youth and old age are related to the body and not to

Me. I am always the same. I can do anything. However, this body is

yours. This has come for your sake. You can change it the way you like. If

you think that Swami is strong and healthy, yes so He is. There is no

weakness in Me. My angas (limbs) may appear to be weak. But I am not

Angaswarupa, I am Atmaswarupa. Wherever you may go, worship God as

Atmaswarupa. Do not identify Him with an Akara (form). Give up body

consciousness and develop Atmic awareness. Only when you lead a

spiritual life, will you be able to visualize the Atmaswarupa. If you identify

Me with the body, I cannot walk even two steps. Do not think about the

Akara. Have faith that I am the Atmaswarupa. Then I will always remain

healthy. "

Nature is the best teacher - 11

The Bee always sits on the Flower and drinks its nectar. Even when it is hungry and has to die will not sit on the garbage dump. Let us stick to our nature which is Purity and Divinity.

Nature is the best Teacher- 9

Man willingly takes on the role of destroyer of a broader spectrum of Life but as creator for only a very miniscule particle of life form.

Do Not Despair

Subject: Learn From Bamboo- THE LESSON OF 'DO NOT DESPAIR'

One day I decided to quit...I quit my job, my relationship, my
spirituality... I wanted to quit my life. I went to
the woods to have one
last talk with God. "God", I said. "Can you give me
one good reason not to quit?" His answer surprised me...

"Look around", He said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"
"Yes", I replied.

"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I
took very good care of
them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The
fern quickly grew from the
earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet
nothing came from the
bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. In
the second year the Fern
grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing
came from the bamboo
seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo." He said.

"In year three there was still nothing from the
bamboo seed. But I would
not quit. In year four, again, there was nothing
from the bamboo seed. I would not quit." He said.

"Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from
the earth. Compared to
the fern it was seemingly small and
insignificant...But just 6 months later
the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent
the five years growing
roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what
it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it
could not handle." He said to me.

"Did you know, my child, that all this time you
have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots?"

"I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you."
"Don't compare yourself to others." He said. "The
bamboo had a different
purpose than the fern. Yet they both make the forest beautiful."
"Your time will come", God said to me. "You will rise high"

"How high should I rise?" I asked.
"How high will the bamboo rise?" He asked in return.
"As high as it can?" I questioned
"Yes." He said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can."
I left the forest and bring back this story. I hope these words can help you
see that God will never give up on you. He will never give up on you.
